Provider Trainings

Everything you need to participate in trainings and get ready.

🫀CPR / First Aid

This CPR & First Aid course is offered using a blended learning format, combining learning videos with an in-person, instructor-led skills session. Participants will first complete the required interactive lessons and instructional videos covering emergency response procedures, CPR techniques, AED use, choking relief, and basic first aid. After successfully completing the learning videos participants will attend a proctored, hands-on skills session led by a certified instructor. During this session, participants will demonstrate the skills learned in the learning videos through guided practice and competency evaluation using CPR manikins and training equipment. This blended approach allows participants to learn the course material while ensuring they can confidently and correctly perform life-saving skills in real-world situations.

Notes:

  • This training will require hands on performance of CPR compressions with manikins on the floor. (we have people that come in with recent surgeries or knee, back problems, or people that just don’t want to do this on the floor and ask if they can perform the exercise on the table which we cannot do)
  • The course is 2 hours
  • The course if design for only participants to attend (kids, children, or members cannot attend the class with them for safety reasons or any other person that is not taking the class)
  • Must be respectful of others times which includes being on time. Anything past 15 minutes will be rescheduled
  • Contact the trainer you are scheduled with directly if you have any questions regarding your scheduled training
